You will support the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across a large, secure healthcare estate, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to reactive repairs. Working in accordance with HTM-06 guidance, statutory regulations, and Trust procedures, you will inspect, test, fault-find, and repair a wide range of electrical equipment and infrastructure to ensure systems remain reliable and compliant. You will assist with the completion of maintenance records, support contractors when required, and maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and tool control. The role requires strong technical knowledge, good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will communicate effectively with colleagues and service users, providing a professional and customer-focused service while contributing to the continuous improvement of the estate.
