Job Title: Education Tutor
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 + Benefits (subject to qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Line Manager: Head of Education
The purpose of the Education Tutor is to provide a high-quality teaching and learning experience for our further education students, studying toward a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential
Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS*, QTLS, CTLLS, DTLLS) * Role suitable for an ECT.
Experience of working within an educational or further education environment.
Degree in Sport or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant knowledge and experience.
Experience of planning, delivering and assessing engaging learning programmes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young people.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines.
Commitment to continuous professional development, including the ability to reflect on and improve teaching practice.
Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable
Knowledge and understanding of the Cambridge Technical qualification suite.
Proven experience of teaching or delivering Level 2 and/or Level 3 Sport and Exercise programmes.
Experience of working within a sporting environment.
Strong understand of safeguarding and learner welfare.
