Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties
- Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Conducting routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan
- Using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, repair, or modify machinery
- Interpreting technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly tasks
- Assisting with the installation of new machinery and ensuring proper setup according to specifications
- Performing heavy lifting as required for the movement and installation of heavy components
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and assembly processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other relevant machinery
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Previous experience in equipment repair or maintenance is highly desirable

Pay: £25,883.70-£52,761.64 per year
