Job Description:
Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
What you’ll be doing
As a Training Delivery Instructor, you’ll deliver Communications Systems training to Royal Navy students on Phase 2 and Phase 3 Weapons Engineering courses.
You’ll:
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality Communications training across the Weapons Engineering Training Group
- Support learners in classroom, simulated and synthetic training environments
- Use performance insight and learner feedback to continuously improve training delivery
- Work closely with Training Delivery and Learning & Development teams to support personalised learning
- Maintain consistent quality and standards across all Communications training
- Contribute to the introduction of new and modernised training as Selborne continues to evolve
What we’re looking for:
Essential
- Practical experience of Royal Navy or equivalent communications systems
Desirable
- Previous experience in training, coaching, mentoring or instruction
- A Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to complete one — we’ll support you)
- If you’re technically strong and motivated to develop others, we’ll help you grow into the instructor role.
