Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with new and existing clients, and supporting the continued growth of the company.
You will play a key role in introducing our services to contractors, developers and consultants while working closely with our commercial team to secure new projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Generate leads through telephone, email, networking and industry research.
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients.
- Follow up enquiries and tender opportunities.
- Research upcoming construction projects and market opportunities.
- Work closely with the estimating and commercial teams.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to strengthen long-term relationships.
- Achieve agreed business development targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Business Development, Sales or a client-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident speaking with senior decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Desirable
- Experience within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Full UK driving licence.
