Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Language Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering language development and supporting learners of all ages, including children and individuals with special needs. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English language lessons tailored to the individual needs of students, including young children and learners with disabilities
- Develop customised lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes
- Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching strategies to accommodate their abilities
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, confidence, and progress
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to each learner’s development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and lesson plans in accordance with organisational policies
- Incorporate tutoring techniques to reinforce language skills outside of formal lessons when appropriate
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching English as a second language or in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education principles and experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Experience working with children, including toddlers, is preferred
- Prior tutoring experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to create inclusive lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and needs
- Compassionate approach with excellent organisational skills and patience for working with young children and learners requiring additional support

Pay: £20.00 per hour
