Job Description:
Yard Person required for our Groundworks, Formwork, and Trenchless equipment hire depot based in Maidenhead.
Duties involve:
Preparing equipment for deliveries
Loading & unloading vehicles by hand or with a forklift - licence preferred.
Cleaning, painting, and general maintenance of equipment
Checking in equipment upon return and regular stock checks
Inspection of lifting equipment.
Liaising with office staff regarding shortage of equipment, repair on equipment etc
Dealing with customers
Ensuring yard is always kept safe and tidy
Abiding by company standards i.e., Health & Safety Policy, Fire Safety, Policy Statement etc
Person must be/have:
Full UK Driving license– occasionally you will be asked to drive a small vehicle to sites/other depots (preferred)
Forklift licence (preferred)
Punctual
Reliable
