Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our professional hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for all visitors. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, reception area, and bathrooms
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and teatrays as required
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and linen handling
- Assist with laundry tasks when necessary to ensure timely turnover of rooms
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends
