Duties
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Performing general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and groundwork. Concrete demolition and blockwork. Working with skilled crafts such as first fix carpentry.
- Assisting with site clean-up and organisation to uphold health and safety standards
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Skills
- Practical experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to maintaining and troubleshooting equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised machinery such as excavators
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and their installation or repair
- Strong maintenance skills across various construction-related tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
