Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, organised, and detail-oriented Catalogue & Website Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with product information, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
You will be responsible for maintaining our product catalogue and ensuring our website is kept up to date with engaging, accurate product listings. From uploading new products and writing descriptions to checking pricing and specifications, you'll play a key role in how our products are presented both in-store and online.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload and maintain products on our website, ensuring all information is accurate and visually appealing.
- Write and edit engaging product descriptions for our website.
- Accurately catalogue products, ensuring descriptions, specifications, dimensions, images and pricing are correct.
- Maintain an organised and up-to-date product database for easy access and retrieval.
- Source, resize and upload product images where required.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information, specifications and imagery.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding new products, pricing updates and catalogue changes.
- Apply effective time management to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Use Excel to organise and manage product information.
- Perform basic pricing calculations and data entry accurately.
- Continually review and improve cataloguing and website processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
- Work with colleagues to develop and refine systems that improve the quality and speed of product uploads and catalogue management.
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail (essential).
- Excellent written and spoken English (essential).
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other computer systems.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Good written communication with a flair for writing clear, customer-friendly product descriptions.
- Basic maths skills for pricing and product management.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in catalogue management, website administration, e-commerce, retail administration or data entry is advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 1 in 6 Saturdays (subject to change)
- A flexible day off during the week when working a Saturday

Salary
- Starting rate: £13.00 per hour
- Salary will be reviewed upon successful completion of the training period, with the opportunity for an increase based on performance, competence and contribution to the role.
