Job Overview
We are seeking a self-employed Cleaner to provide professional cleaning services across various residential and commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring client satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail. Experience in janitorial work, hotel cleaning, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable, alongside excellent customer service skills. As a self-employed professional, you will manage your own bookings and client relationships, delivering reliable and efficient cleaning services.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet client specifications and health & safety standards
- Manage your own schedule to accommodate client appointments and deadlines
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment efficiently and safely
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients
- Keep accurate records of completed jobs and client preferences
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards encountered during cleaning tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous
- Skills in cooking or customer service can be beneficial for certain specialised cleaning roles involving hospitality venues or catering establishments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised with excellent time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and understand their specific requirements
