Duties

- Conduct assessments to evaluate learner competency against established standards, providing constructive feedback for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes in accordance with organizational policies
- Facilitate engaging classroom or virtual learning environments that motivate and inspire participants
- Stay current with industry trends, training methodologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure program relevance and compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and customize content accordingly
- Support learners through coaching, mentoring, and guidance to foster confidence and skill mastery
Experience
- Proven experience as a trainer or assessor within relevant industry sectors or educational settings
- Strong understanding of competency-based training frameworks and assessment tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative training materials and adapt delivery methods as needed
- Knowledge of relevant accreditation standards and compliance requirements for vocational education or professional development programs
- Ability to manage multiple training sessions simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
- Certification as a Trainer and Assessor (or equivalent) is highly desirable
