We are seeking Family Support Workers to join our dedicated team to work in our Residential Family Assessment Centre based in Woodstone Village.
About the role
At our Residential Family Assessment Centre, you’ll be part of a supportive, passionate team making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable families. We provide a safe, structured environment where families can be assessed, guided, and supported to make positive life changes.
Families receive practical guidance, observation and support from trained staff, with a focus on safeguarding, parenting capacity, routine, independence and positive outcomes for children.
You will work closely with colleagues, families and professionals to safeguard and advocate for children and residents whilst maintaining accurate records in line with safeguarding expectations.
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have completed, be working towards, or be willing to undertake the following qualification:
- The Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeship
- Or have completed the level 3 diploma in children and young people’s award.

Working pattern and contract options
The role will involve working a range of shifts including days, nights, weekends and sleep in duties.
We offer full-time, part time and bank positions with flexible shift patterns to support different lifestyles and commitments.
We operate a 365 days per year, 24 hours a day service.
Salary
Salary and grades will be determined on evidence provided through your application form, the interview process and certificates (see job description for more information).
· Grade A £14.00 – Little or no experience
· Grade B £14.75 – Experienced
· Senior Grade C £15.50 – Senior
· Grade D £16.50 – Team Leader
