Job Overview
We are seeking reliable Sales/Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers, supporting sales activities, and ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to clients premises in a timely manner
- Support the sales team by providing excellent customer service during deliveries and visits.
- Drive sales with great merchandising skills and building relationships with our customers.
- Assist with stock organisation and inventory checks as required
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for upon receipt
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times
- Follow all health and safety protocols during driving and delivery tasks
- Communicate effectively with the office team regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes
Requirements
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating company vehicles (category B or higher)
- Previous experience in delivery driving or sales support is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when dealing with customers
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules or routes
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
- Must be physically fit to handle loading and unloading goods as necessary
