Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Bar Manager to step in and oversee the day-to-day running of our busy caravan park bar. This is an urgent requirement, ideal for someone who can quickly adapt, lead a small team, and maintain high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Supervise and support bar staff, including shift coordination
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Handle stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
- Manage cash handling, tills, and end-of-day reconciliation
- Resolve customer queries or issues professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Supervisor
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of licensing laws and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Personal licence (preferred but not essential)
