Primary Teaching Assistants – Full-Time Opportunities | Education World
Education World is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of friendly and supportive primary schools throughout Newcastle
We have a range of full-time, long-term roles available, with many schools looking to offer permanent contracts to successful candidates following a successful placement.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils reach their full potential. Depending on the school and role, you may support whole-class learning, deliver small group interventions, or provide dedicated 1:1 support for children who require additional guidance. Many of our vacancies involve working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
You'll work closely with class teachers to create a positive learning environment, encourage pupil engagement, and help children develop both academically and socially. Every day is different, making this a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys making a genuine difference in the classroom.
At Education World, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our schools and candidates. We work with welcoming schools that value their support staff and provide excellent opportunities to develop your skills and experience. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to take the next step in your education career, we'd love to help you find the right role.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare or similar setting.
- A positive, patient and caring approach.
- Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEN.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life.
What we offer:
- Long-term and permanent opportunities across the North East.
- Competitive daily rates of pay.
- A dedicated consultant who will support you throughout your placement.
- Opportunities to gain experience in a variety of school settings.
- Simple registration process and ongoing support.
If you're passionate about supporting children and want to work in a role where you can make a real impact every day, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and let Education World help you find your next opportunity in education.
