Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation and kitchen operations in our restaurant. If you have a passion for creating delicious dishes, a strong knowledge of food safety regulations, and excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the menu, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create new menu items and specials
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee the plating and garnishing of dishes before they are served
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create innovative and delicious dishes
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Leadership abilities with the capability to manage and motivate a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Applicants must hold a minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in Catering & Hospitality and this must be displayed on your CV, otherwise your application will not be processed.

Working Hours:
Saturday: 1100 to 1700hrs
Sunday: 1000 to 1700hrs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
