Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the organisation of kitchen supplies and stock levels, including restocking as necessary.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables during busy service periods when required.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is desirable but not mandatory.
