We are recruiting for a part-time Night Care Assistant to join our small team. The post is for 2 nights per week i.e. 24 hours. The night shift is from 8 pm to 8 am.
About the Home
Headroomgate is a small care home located in Lytham St Annes in Lancashire. We provide person centred residential care to a maximum of 19 elderly male and female residents. The home has an excellent reputation locally and currently has a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission. The home is in easy commuting distance of both Preston and Blackpool.

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Headroomgate Care Home. In your role you will:
· Carry out regular checks on our residents throughout the night, completing care notes, assisting residents with night time activities including personal care and all related tasks as required and to undertake light domestic duties. You will be working alongside another care assistant.
· Be a friend who our residents can rely on to champion their dignity and independence
· Support our residents to live happy and healthy lives
· Communicate effectively, take on responsibility, prioritise your workload and keep accurate records via our digital care system
· Carry out light domestic duties
· Work in a team and build relationships with your fellow team members.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
· Is a hard-working individual who takes pride in their work.
· Has a kind and caring nature.
· Is friendly and approachable.
· Has a "can do" attitude.
· Has previous experience in care or a willingness to learn all that is involved.
· Has a level 2 in Health & Social Care, a care certificate or be willing to work towards this.
As part of our recruitment process you will be required to provide 2 references and complete an enhanced DBS check. Alternatively, you can provide a portable DBS.
