Macdonald's Farm is a popular family attraction on the beautiful North Cornwall coast, welcoming thousands of visitors each year. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our busy catering team and help deliver high-quality food in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking a variety of freshly made dishes to a high standard
- Assisting with menu planning and seasonal specials
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff when required
- Ensuring a clean, organised, and professional kitchen environment
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Chef de Partie
- Passion for producing quality food using fresh ingredients
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene regulations and HACCP procedures
- Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
- Relevant food safety qualifications are desirable
