Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Cleaner to join our team at Atlantic Cleaning in GB. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe environment for children and staff at local nurseries. As part of our team, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional cleaning services tailored to each client's needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in nursery environments, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards and comply with infection control protocols.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of play areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Follow company procedures for waste disposal and hygiene practices.
- Support periodic deep cleaning projects as scheduled.
- Adhere to health and safety policies to ensure a safe environment for children and staff.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning roles.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and hygiene standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable with good time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience working in nursery or childcare environments is a plus.
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Hours: 3 hours per day
Hourly rate: £12.71
Hours of work: 6pm - 9pm
