We’re a friendly and growing accountancy practice based in Bishop’s Sutton, near Alresford, looking for an experienced Practice/Tax Accountant to join our supportive team.
This office-based role offers a varied workload across accounts, personal and business tax, VAT, and client management for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accounts and self-assessment tax returns
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Supporting personal and business tax compliance and advisory work
- Liaising with HMRC and building strong client relationships
- Supporting improvements to systems and processes
About You
- ATT, ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified, or qualified by experience
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation, self-assessment, and tax compliance
- Organised, able to work independently, and team-oriented
