We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a medium-sized residential home in Sudbury, Suffolk.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, not for profit welfare trust with a supportive team and strong operational support in place.
This role would suit either an experienced Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
As Registered Care Home Manager, you will ensure the home delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational performance, team development, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and take a leading role in day-to-day operational management
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
- Lead, develop, and motivate the staff team
- Maintain high standards of care and resident experience
- Support and oversee assessments for prospective residents
- Manage staffing levels effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and the muti disciplinary team
- Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture throughout the home
Requirements:
- Experience managing within a residential/nursing home setting
- Open to experienced Deputy Managers seeking progression
- Strong leadership, organisational, motivational and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding compliance
- Adaptable, resilient, approachable to all and takes a hands-on approach
- A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
- Nurse qualification not essential but RMA desirable.
Qualifications:
- Registered Managers Award (Desirable)
- NVQ Level 4
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
Pay: £50,000.00 per year
