We're looking for a full-time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming team in Leicester (LE3). As the first person our patients see and speak to, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience from the moment they get in touch.
Whether you already have dental reception experience or have worked in a busy reception or customer service role, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same! Your role will include:
- Welcoming patients with a warm and friendly smile
- Answering telephone calls and helping patients with their enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Taking payments and carrying out general administrative duties
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting the clinical team to help the practice run smoothly
- Providing excellent customer service at every opportunity
What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who:
- Has previous reception experience (dental reception experience is desirable but not essential)
- Is fluent in spoken and written English
- Has an excellent telephone manner
- Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people
- Can stay calm, organised and efficient in a busy practice
- Has great attention to detail
- Is confident using computers and willing to learn new systems. Experience using SOE would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
- Works well independently and as part of a supportive team
- Has a positive attitude and is always willing to help
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- One Saturday per month
Salary
Salary will be in line with the National Minimum Wage and will be discussed during the interview process.
