We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated Family Worker to join our Family Hub team, delivering early help support to children, young people and families across North Lincolnshire.

About the Role
As a Family Worker, you will play a vital role in engaging families, reducing barriers to support and improving outcomes for children and young people.
You will work alongside colleagues and partner agencies to deliver a wide range of activities, support programmes and community-based initiatives that encourage participation, strengthen family relationships and promote children's health, wellbeing and development.
No two days will be the same.
You could be:
Visiting families in their homes to provide information, advice and guidance.
Encouraging children and parents to participate in local activities, groups and events.
Supporting the delivery of evidence-based parenting programmes.
Organising and facilitating family activities across local communities.
Helping parents build confidence, self-esteem and connections within their community.
Working alongside health, education, voluntary sector and social care partners.
Promoting healthy lifestyles, childhood development and positive parenting.
Advocating on behalf of children, young people and families.
Identifying safeguarding concerns and responding appropriately.
Recording outcomes and contributing to service development and evaluation.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and families and understands the importance of early intervention.
You will have:
An NVQ Level 3 qualification or above, with evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience of working with children, young people and families.
A sound understanding of child development and positive behaviour strategies.
Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience of community-based working and partnership collaboration.
Good organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
Basic ICT skills and experience of maintaining accurate records.
The ability to travel throughout North Lincolnshire.
Most importantly, you'll bring empathy, enthusiasm and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
