Transport & Installation Coordinator
Contract: [Permanent / Full-time] Department: Operations / Customer Experience
Ground Guards is growing, and we’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Transport & Installation Coordinator to join our team. This role is central to ensuring our customers receive a seamless experience from order to delivery. You’ll coordinate all transport and installation bookings across UK Rental, UK Sales and EMEA Sales, working closely with Operations to confirm dates and logistics, and keeping the Customer Experience Manager fully informed so customers stay updated throughout their project.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating all transport bookings for UK Rental, UK Sales and EMEA Sales orders
- Scheduling installation for UK Rental projects
- Working closely with Operations to confirm dates, availability and logistics
- Sharing all transport and installation details with the Customer Experience Manager for customer communication
- Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date transport and installation schedules
- Building strong working relationships with transport suppliers
- Running an effective tracker for all live projects, ensuring all transport and installation information is recorded
- Booking shipping for imported goods in collaboration with Purchasing
Who you’ll work with
- Customer Experience Manager – your direct report; receives all booking information
- Operations Team – confirms dates, availability and logistics
- Internal Sales / Key Account Managers – provides order and delivery requirements
- Transport Suppliers – day‑to‑day booking, capacity and relationship management
What you’ll bring
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills
- Clear, proactive communication style
- Confidence coordinating across multiple business units (UK Rental, UK Sales, EMEA Sales)
- Experience in transport or logistics coordination (advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to build and manage supplier relationships effectively

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
