No1 Whitstable is located in the vibrant seaside town of Whitstable, England. We are seeking experienced Front of House and Barista to join our dynamic team. As a well-established restaurant known for our delicious food, excellent service, and warm atmosphere, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving food and beverages promptly and with attention to detail
- Managing cash transactions and maintaining a balanced cash register
- Providing knowledgeable and friendly service to guests, answering questions about our menu offerings and providing recommendations
- Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the front of house area and bar
- Collaborating with other team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in front of house or bar roles in a restaurant setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations with grace
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with food and beverage service standards
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom
