Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, creative, and detail-oriented PA / Assistant Designer to join Eaton Dining’s dynamic team. This role combines administrative support with creative design responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Development Director on innovative product and design-led projects.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in digital design tools, comfortable with AI-driven workflows, and able to balance administration with hands-on design contributions. With responsibilities spanning project organisation, packaging and product design support, and digital asset creation, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and organisational support to the Development Director, including scheduling, communications, and project tracking
- Assist in the development of design concepts and visual assets for tableware and packaging projects
- Create and modify designs using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
- Prepare polished customer-facing presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and other modern presentation platforms (e.g. Canva, Google Slides, or AI-enabled tools)
- Support with 3D modelling in SketchUp and prepare CAD drawings for technical development
- Capture and edit high-quality photographs to support design presentations, catalogues, and marketing materials
- Collaborate on digital/web design tasks, applying knowledge of HTML and CSS where needed
- Use AI tools to streamline research, design development, and workflow processes
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas aligned with project goals
- Maintain a structured archive and library system for all design and project work
- Prepare professional mock-ups, mood boards, and visual presentations for internal and client use
- Stay updated on industry trends, digital tools, and design innovations to bring fresh ideas to the team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) — essential
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, with ability to use newer presentation tools (Canva, Google Slides, AI design platforms)
- Experience with CAD, SketchUp, and Maya — highly desirable
- Strong graphic design and packaging design skills with a creative eye for detail
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and digital/web design principles
- Strong photography and visual storytelling skills
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and record-keeping abilities
- Confident using AI and digital platforms to support design and business tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects is required
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and product design
