Hourly Rate: £14.80
Contract Type: Zero-Hour Casual Contract
Availability Required: Monday - Friday (Immediate start possible)

The Role:
We are currently seeking experienced casual staff, willing to work both front and back house, as we enter a busy event period at 15Hatfields. As a casual worker at 15H, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our events, delivering excellent service whilst carrying a motivated and proactive attitude.
This role will work alongside our Event Supervisors, supporting event delivery through a range of tasks. Please note the working days and hours will be flexible across days and evenings, depending on the requirements of the event, with Tuesday-Thursday the most popular days.
Floor Staff responsibilities include:
- Servicing meetings and events, including setting up and restocking catering and beverage stations whilst maintaining cleanliness
- Respond to delegate requests and enquiries in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring an exceptional service is delivered to guests at all times
- Assist in the set up of meeting rooms and event spaces, including manual handling of chairs and tables
- Responding promptly to management and client needs
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene across the venue
- Assisting with bar service and canapé receptions
- Occasionally serving at silver service dinner functions
BOH responsibilities include:
- Rinsing, washing and polishing crockery and glassware across the day, ensuring all equipment is cleaned to a premium standard
- Assist in the break-down and closing of events, ensuring kitchen closing requirements have been completed
- Occasionally assisting in the set up of meeting rooms and event spaces, including manual handling of chairs and tables
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and proactive individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude and care toward the details. You should have excellent customer service skilled, having worked in guest-facing catering or hospitality venues, with an understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene within a catering environment.
- Previous front-of-house/kitchen porter experience in an events or hospitality environment, where relevant
- Strong customer service skills with a motivated, ‘can-do’ work ethic
- Clear and effective communication abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to thrive under pressure and think on your feet
- Positive and flexible approach to work (morning/evening shift work will be required)
- Knowledge of food safety, health, and safety protocols (an advantage but full training will be provided)
- Familiarity with AV equipment (an advantage)
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
