We’re looking for a dynamic Receptionist & Pre-Construction Administrator to join our team at EE Smith Contracts Limited, supporting both front-of-house operations and our Pre-Construction department.
Due to the nature of this role, we can only offer this a full, office based position.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties
- Welcome visitors to Head Office, ensuring they receive a professional and friendly introduction.
- Administer Health & Safety inductions and ensure visitor sign-in protocols are followed.
- Handle incoming calls: answering, screening, and forwarding appropriately.
- Coordinate couriers, maintain the contacts list, book meeting rooms, and arrange catering as needed.
- Manage the shared diary and assist with general administrative duties.
Pre-Construction Administration
- Support the Pre-Con team with printing, filing, and document organisation.
- Log, photograph, and manage control samples, ensuring they are properly stored and tracked.
- Maintain accurate records on the HUB system, updating photos, approvals, and project instructions.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of samples with internal and external couriers.
- Communicate regularly with the Pre-Con team to ensure alignment on updates and requirements.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and H&S standards (ISO 9001, 14001).

- Strong customer service focus with a high level of professionalism.
- Proficient in handling administrative tasks and working to deadlines.
- Strong computer skills: Word/Excel and the ability to pick up internal systems quickly
