Job Description:
Home Safe is a Delivery Partner that specialises in supporting Local Authorities with the delivery of their Selective, Additional and HMO Licensing schemes.
We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team, as a full time Property Inspector, responsible for conducting property inspections in Peterborough, and other areas around the UK where Local authorities choose Home Safe as a delivery partner.
As a property inspector your main duties will include:
- Using the project management software to organise and arrange inspections.
- Arranging the inspections with Licence Holders, their Agents or their Tenants.
- Liaising with our Compliance Management Team where inspections cannot be arranged to initiate and follow an agreed access management procedure.
- Using the IT software required to record inspections.
- Using your own transport to visit and conduct property inspections.
- Sending inspection reports to the Scheme Licence Holders upon completion of each inspection.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work outside of Peterborough (to accommodate new scheme areas)
- HHSRS Qualified (however training can be provided for the right candidates).
- Experience working in private rented housing (essential)
- Must have a full drivers licence and own transport. (essential).
- Willingness to work from home (when arranging the inspections) as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (to accommodate tenants availability) as required.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
