Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional Uber Drivers to join our team on a rental basis. This role involves providing safe, efficient, and friendly transportation services to passengers across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused attitude. Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle at all times
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure passenger safety
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance or information as needed
- Manage pick-up and drop-off points efficiently, ensuring smooth flow of rides
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
- Assist with heavy lifting when required, such as loading or unloading luggage or packages
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and expenses for administrative purposes
Skills
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable
- Proven ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to perform routine checks and minor repairs
- Organised and responsible approach to managing schedules and vehicle upkeep
