We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the North East region. This role is vital in managing costs and ensuring the financial efficiency of our projects, aligning with our mission to deliver top-quality fire protection solutions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates and budgets for fire protection projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure financial targets are met.
- Assist in procurement processes and contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and changes.
- Support the team in achieving project milestones within budget.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cost control within the construction or fire protection industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in cost management software is preferred.
