The Role:
- Support pupils with learning, emotional regulation, communication, behaviour management, and social development
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and therapists to deliver personalised support plans and interventions
- Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, engagement, and academic progress
- Work within specialist provisions, alternative provisions (PRUs), and SEN schools
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH, Autism (ASD), ADHD or behavioural needs
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Behaviour Mentor or SEND Practitioner is highly desirable
- A patient, adaptable, nurturing, and resilient attitude
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Relevant qualifications, SEN training, Team Teach, MAPA, or restraint training are desirable but not essential
