Generalised Responsibilities - depending on job role
- Assist with the preparation and review of conveyancing documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and title deeds.
- Coordinate with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth property transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence related to conveyancing files.
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely progression of property transfers.
- Utilise IT systems to update case progress, generate reports, and manage document storage securely.
- Provide clear communication to clients regarding process updates and required actions.
- Support senior conveyancers in administrative tasks to streamline workflow.
Specified responsibilities and expectations will be outlined and discussed at interview for clarity.
Experience
- Essential - Prior experience in legal administration or conveyancing, any additional training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for liaising with clients and professionals.
- Proficiency in IT applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Good time management skills to prioritise workload effectively.
