Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated routes. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage time effectively. Responsibilities
- Conduct timely deliveries to multiple customers across the local area, ensuring all parcels are delivered accurately and in good condition.
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
- Plan routes efficiently to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during daily operations.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including stock organisation and inventory checks.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, particularly multi-drop deliveries, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting procedures is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and long periods of driving.
- Proven organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. Pay: £128.00-£130.00 per day
