Responsibilities
- Safely operate dumpers and rollers to move earth, gravel, asphalt, and other materials across construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained
- Assist with site preparation by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as directed by supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and optimize workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and injuries
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation, maintenance, and material movement
- Support the setup and breakdown of machinery at various project phases as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating heavy machinery
- Hold either a CPCS or NPORS license
- Familiarity with operating excavators or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to safety procedures and compliance with site regulations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving
