We are seeking a Mobile Electrician to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional building services maintenance across a variety of client properties within a designated region.
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will support the delivery of safe, reliable and high-performing building systems through expert fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation work.
Job Description
As part of a professional facilities management environment, you will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, ensuring customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
You will also contribute to wider building services maintenance activities while representing the company in a professional manner that promotes customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works across client properties.
- Complete electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks within agreed timeframes.
- Support the delivery of other building services maintenance activities, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks.
- Respond to helpdesk-issued work requests and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Participate in the client callout rota and provide emergency response support when required.
- Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client.
- Monitor contractors and workmanship to ensure relevant standards are met.
- Issue Permits to Work and ensure compliance with site procedures.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Previous experience providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
- Experience working within FM or building services environments across commercial properties.
- NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2, or
- City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and AM1 and AM2, or
- City & Guilds 236/2360 in Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2, and
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence - ISS van provided.
