- EYFS, KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistants
- Secondary School Learning Support Assistants
- College Learning Support Assistants
- HLTAs
- Candidates with experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, complex needs and other SEND
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities could include:
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
- Assisting the class teacher with learning activities
- Supporting pupils with additional and special educational needs
- Helping pupils to access the curriculum
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Providing emotional and pastoral support
- Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation
- Supporting pupils during lessons, break times and lunchtimes
- Working alongside teachers and other support staff
- Providing personal care where required and appropriate
- Building positive relationships with pupils and helping them develop confidence and independence
