Experienced Greenskeeper (Part-Time)

Silver Birch Golf Club is seeking an experienced and reliable Greenskeeper to join our team on a part-time basis.
Set in the beautiful North Wales countryside, Silver Birch Golf Club is committed to providing an outstanding golfing experience for our members and visitors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining high-quality playing surfaces and enjoys working outdoors in a hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of greens, tees, fairways and rough
- Bunker preparation and upkeep
- Operation of irrigation systems
- Safe operation of greenkeeping machinery
- Machinery cleaning and basic maintenance
- Turf management activities including aeration, seeding and top dressing
- General golf course maintenance and presentation
- Assisting with course preparation for competitions and events
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Greenskeeper or in sports turf/grounds maintenance
- Good knowledge of golf course maintenance practices
- Experience operating turf care machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
A qualification in Greenkeeping, Sports Turf Management or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with relevant experience.
Working Hours
- 2-3 days per week
- Early morning starts required
- Occasional weekend working may be required during busy periods and competitions
