Duties
- Supervise and coordinate overhead cleaning activities across designated work areas, ensuring timely and thorough completion of tasks
- Lead a team of cleaning technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to uphold safety protocols and quality standards
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to access high surfaces for cleaning or maintenance purposes
- Conduct inspections of work sites to verify cleanliness, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor progress to meet operational goals
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety checks, and equipment usage for accountability and reporting purposes
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around operational needs
Experience
- Prior supervisory experience in a cleaning or maintenance environment is highly preferred
- IPAF or equivalent powered access training
- PASMA or equivalent mobile access tower training
- Working at Height training
- COSHH training or awareness
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights and using various tools
- Ability to read technical manuals, safety guidelines, and work instructions clearly and accurately
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
