We are seeking a reliable Weekend Laundry Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the laundry operations during weekends, ensuring all linen and textiles are cleaned, pressed, and prepared for use. Duties
- Collect and sort laundry items according to type and colour
- Operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned to the required standards within designated timeframes
- Fold, organise, and store clean linen and textiles in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and work surfaces
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying when stock levels are low
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
