Summary
We are seeking a Class 2 Car Transporter Driver to join our team in GB. Based in <LOCATION>, you will play a vital role in delivering high-value vehicles efficiently and safely, supporting our company's mission of dependable transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 2 Car Transporters to deliver vehicles across designated areas.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of vehicles using flatbeds.
- Maintain compliance with all GB transportation legislation and safety standards.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Keep accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet delivery schedules.
- Assist in fleet maintenance and logistics planning as needed.
- Nights out 4 nights a week with £25 per night additionally paid
- Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with car transporters.
- Familiarity with flatbed loading and securing vehicles.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of GB road legislation relevant to commercial drivers.
- Prior experience with high-value vehicle deliveries is preferred.
