Part-Time Chef – Country Pub in Wiltshire

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Chef to join our friendly kitchen team and work alongside our Head Chef in a busy Wiltshire country pub.
This is a hands-on role supporting the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations, food preparation and service. You’ll help us maintain consistently high standards while delivering great-quality, freshly prepared pub food.
The role would suit an experienced chef looking for regular part-time hours in a relaxed but professional kitchen environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Head Chef with food preparation and service
- Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard
- Help deliver our seasonal menu using fresh, quality ingredients
- Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during your shifts
- Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and food safety
- Assist with stock management, deliveries and reducing food waste
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to provide a great customer experience
- Help with occasional events, functions and busy holiday periods
- Provide additional cover for holidays and staff absence where available
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Chef, Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a pub, restaurant or similar kitchen
- Confident preparing and cooking fresh food
- Reliable, organised and able to work well as part of a small team
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Able to remain calm and organised during busy services
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the Head Chef and wider team

Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
