Duties
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Organise and prepare specific sections of the kitchen.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and plating food items.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times, maintaining hygiene standards across the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate needs for replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness of your workstation before, during, and after service shifts.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation.
