You will be responsible for supervising and assuring the quality of work delivered, ensuring all assets and activities comply with relevant standards, company policies, and safe systems of work. This includes carrying out inspections, prioritising work, preparing method statements and Safe System of Work Plans, and supporting the development of work plans that enable delivery to be safe, efficient, and compliant. You will also contribute to asset management by assisting with asset condition assessments, identifying renewal requirements, and ensuring work is delivered in line with maintenance plans.
In addition, you will support effective team and resource management by assisting with resource allocation, staff supervision, and monitoring work quality, compliance, and asset condition. You will help maintain accurate systems, records, and databases, contribute to staff competence, welfare, and disciplinary processes where required, and carry out staff surveillance activities as directed. Ongoing personal development and supporting the development of others forms a key part of the role.
