Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper to a team in a Care Home Communal Areas dining area's, corridors, offices, not including residents rooms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to maintain health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities
Experience
- Previous experience in care home cleaning is ideal
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is desirable
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices within the workplace
Pay: £14.13 per hour

- Redditch B97: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
