Job Title: CLINICAL LEAD NURSE (RGN) DAY SHIFT
Location: Family Run Care Home, 22 Beds- Kennoway, Leven, Fife (Commutable from Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Cupar)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Hours: 38.5 - 44hrs per week (optional)
This would suit someone who is looking to further their career and take on their first role as a Clinical Lead Nurse.
After successfully changing our sister care home in Fife from residential to nursing, we are now switching this residential care home too and are looking to hire a full compliment of nurses!
**Current Manager is also retiring after 20 years of service, we are also looking for a new RGN Manager - see other advert - ideally someone who would like to step up from a deputy role and have a strong drive to help us move this home forward!

We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Lead Nurse to join our passionate team and take the lead in delivering outstanding nursing care.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse to oversee clinical operations and ensure exceptional care is provided for our elderly residents. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a supportive environment aligned with our values of compassion and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage clinical nursing practice to ensure a high standard of care is provided to residents.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the care team to ensure the delivery of compassionate care.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ healthcare needs and create individual care plans.
- Administer and manage medications in accordance with legal requirements and care home policies.
- Ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate, up to date, and in compliance with regulations.
- Support staff training and development to foster a skilled, confident, and motivated team.
- Act as a clinical role model, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
- Liaise with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and make necessary improvements.
- Take an active role in quality assurance, audits, and compliance with regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Proven experience in a clinical leadership role within a care home or healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of care home regulations, quality standards, and health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, dedicated, and genuinely passionate about delivering person-centred care.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in medication management and care planning is essential.
- Leadership and team-building abilities, with a positive and supportive approach.
