Support Worker/Buddie (Female) Bank

Contract: Bank (Term Time & School Holidays)
Premium Care Solutions Limited, a CQC-registered specialist complex care provider, is looking for a bubbly, fun, and confident Buddie / Support Worker to support a 14-year-old girl with complex needs to live a happy, fulfilling, and active life.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a young person’s life — helping her do the things other teenagers enjoy, such as shopping trips, getting her nails done, going to the cinema, and spending time at home and in the community.
About the Role
You’ll be supporting the client on a 2-1 basis to achieve her goals and take part in a variety of daily activities, while ensuring her safety and wellbeing at all times.
Your role will include assisting with outings, attending appointments such as physiotherapy, and supporting her at home to build independence and confidence.
Duties include:
- Supporting attendance at scheduled activities (e.g., physiotherapy, club’s afterschool).
- Providing companionship and encouraging engagement in hobbies and social activities.
- Assisting with PEG feeding and supporting epilepsy care (training provided).
- Promoting independence, fun, and inclusion in all aspects of daily life.
Working Hours
Term Time:
- Monday & Thursday: 14.30 - 18.00 (school pick up-up - physio - home)
- Wednesday: 13.30 - 18.00 (school pick-up - club - not every week)
- Saturday: 11:00 – 18:00
Non-Term Time:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 – 18:00
- Occasional Saturday: 10.00 - 18.00
Rates of Pay:
£17.00 per hour - Monday to Friday
£19.50 per hour - Saturday - Sunday
£14.00 per hour training rate
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, engaging, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
- Confident working with children or young people with complex needs.
- Reliable, caring, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Experience with PEG feeding and epilepsy is desirable (training will be provided).
