KSD Haulage is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire on day shifts Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm . You will be responsible for assisting with the servicing and maintenance our fleet of HGV tippers, trailers, mixers and light vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles to manufacturer and DVSA standards
- Carry out fault diagnostics using tools and manual testing methods
- Complete jobs efficiently, ensuring clear and accurate record-keeping
- Liaise with the parts team to ensure correct and timely parts availability
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential
- Proven experience as either HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
Desirable
- HGV Class 1 or 2 licence
- IRTEC certification
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or similar
- Experience in a dealership or fleet maintenance workshop
